Aletha Roper Event Specialist

When Aletha moved to Asheville she put herself through school at the University of North Carolina Asheville while working full time at 23 Page, a DiRona award-winning restaurant. Just one year after graduating, Cum Laude, she bought the entire operation, which included two restaurants and a full catering business

She is an active leader in the community sitting on the Board of Directors of Bele Chere, Hospitality Advisory Board of AB Tech and recent member of the Board of Alumni of UNC Asheville. Aletha was co-coordinator of the first AIR Taste of Asheville Festival 2004 and logistics co-coordinator of the same event in 2005.

Her experience includes owning and operating her own restaurant for 9 years, and designing full on and off premise catering events from romantic dinners for two to a sit-down dinner for 3,000.

You will find her easy to work with and genuine in her desire for your event to be greater than you were expecting. Her clients establish a good working relationship with her. Once after 6 months of planning, she was asked to serve as Maid of Honor for one of her Brides!

Aletha recently sold her restaurant to get back to doing what she loves best, designing and executing events that leave brilliant memories for her clients and their guests.
